Pay attention to the sender’s email address. If it doesn’t come from the business (i.e. xxxx@McAfee.com), it’s NOT REAL! Be wary of emails that try to invoke fear or urgency. NEVER click on links from emails, even if they come from a business or person you know and trust. Scammers are getting much better at mimicking real businesses. Instead, look-up the company online and log-in to check your account.
