Scammers are getting much better at mimicking real businesses. NEVER click on links in text messages, even if they come from a business or person you know and trust. Check for misspellings, wrong names, or anything that feels off about a text or email message.  There are two things about the following text message that should alert you of a problem. First, the link does not have Amazon’s name in it anywhere. Second, the text message starts by saying your Amazon account has been suspended but the bottom of the text states that your account will be suspended if you do not act within three days. This text message is designed to scare you. The scammer wants you to click the link and enter your Amazon account information. Once they have this information, they will use your account to make purchases.
